History

RMS Welding Systems was founded in 1995 to offer mechanized welding services and specialized equipment to the pipeline industry in the global marketplace.

RMS began as a division of O.J. Pipelines Canada. RMS has evolved from the needs of a pipeline contractor and our personnel have been involved in mechanized pipeline welding since the mid 1970’s. Our people were pioneers in the introduction of mechanized welding on large diameter, mainline pipelines in Canada and the U.S. and have the expertise to offer project support, weld procedure development and qualification, training and field services. RMS is committed to deliver state of the art welding processes to the pipeline industry.
